Mumbai City FC has named an initial 29-member squad for the 2024-25 Indian Super League season. The Islanders will kick off their ISL campaign with an away game against Mohun Bagan SG in Kolkata on 13th September.
Last season, the Islanders played exhilarating football, competing for the ISL Shield until the very last game, achieving their highest-ever points tally in the club's history in the ISL amassing 47 points, and narrowly finishing second in the league.
Head Coach Petr Kratky guided the Islanders to a memorable 3-1 victory over Mohun Bagan SG in the ISL Cup Final in Kolkata. As they head into the new ISL campaign, the Islanders will look to build on that success and strive for even greater achievements this season.
Lallianzuala Chhangte captains Mumbai City FC this season, and he will aim to replicate his stellar performances while leading a squad that features a mix of youth and experience.
As Kratky gears up for his first full season at the helm of Mumbai City FC, he will be eager to build on the momentum from last season and set the tone for a successful campaign ahead.
