Mumbai City FC’s Academy made a statement at the 2025 Mumbai Football Association (MFA) Annual Awards, clinching a remarkable seven trophies, thirteen individual nominations, and seven individual honours, the Academy's consistent growth and impact on Mumbai’s grassroots football scene were on full display.

The club’s youth teams left an indelible mark across the season. The U11s finished as both champions and runners-up in their category, while the U13 Division 1 side lifted the title and the Division 2 team secured third place. In the U15s, the Division 2 team were crowned champions, and the Division 1 squad ended runners-up. The U19s capped it all off by winning the MFA Super League.

Several young Islanders were also recognised for their individual performances. In the U11s, Yahya Shaikh and Neel Chothani were nominated for Best Player. The U13s saw Janak (Best Goalkeeper), Anuj (Best Defender), and Neil (Best Forward) take home top honours, while Arjun Singh earned a nomination for Best Midfielder.

Ryan (Best Midfielder) and Yuvraj (Best Forward) picked up awards in the U15s, with Aditya and Manthan nominated for Best Goalkeeper and Best Defender respectively. In the U19 category, Mhd Kaif and M Hakib were named Best Defender and Best Midfielder, while Shaurya S was nominated for Best Goalkeeper.

The accolades are a testament to the Academy’s dedication to developing talent and fostering a competitive, growth-oriented environment for young footballers. As the Academy continues to produce promising players and build a strong pipeline for the future, moments like these only reinforce Mumbai City FC’s commitment to shaping the next generation of Indian football.
