A total of 100 days separated the two losses to FC Goa and in the midst, the Islanders went on a stellar 9-game unbeaten run. The only other team Jorge Costa’s side has failed to pick up any points against so far this season has been Jamshedpur FC.

Mumbai City FC are on the road for the first time in 2019, making the trip to the Steel City of India to face Jamshedpur FC tomorrow at 7.30pm here at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

After FC Goa’s draw against Delhi Dynamos, Mumbai City FC find themselves sitting in second place two points ahead of Sergio Lobera’s side and four points adrift of league leaders Bengaluru FC.

Cesar Ferrando’s side sit fifth in the standings, three points behind NorthEast United FC who occupy the last available play-off spot. Jamshedpur FC have only lost twice all season, both on the road but have amassed an apalling 8 draws.

It has been a mixed bag of a season for tomorrow’s hosts but with the attacking quality of Sergio Cidoncha and Mario Arques coupled with a rock-solid Tiri at the back, the Red Miners will be raring to fire on all cylinders and mount a serious challenge for a play-off spot starting tomorrow.
