Just over 24 hours to go for the Maha Derby and the boss Jorge Costa has provided some important team news ahead of the final league game of the campaign..
Joyner Lourenco will be in the traveling party for the first time since the defender picked up an injury in the 6-1 win over Kerala Blasters in December. Also in the squad is defender Lucian Goian who could be in line to make his 50th appearance for the Islanders – the first player in the club’s history to reach the landmark figure.
While Davinder Singh remains the only name on the injury list, Mumbai City FC will be without the services of Souvik Chakrabarti and Sehnaj Singh – both picked up their 4th yellow cards of the season in the 3-1 away win over ATK. Rafael Bastos returns to the squad and will be in contention for a spot in the XI after serving his suspension.
