We’ve all been waiting for this - the fixtures for the 2019-20 Hero Indian Super League are here!

Mumbai City FC will open their 2019-20 league campaign away from home in Kochi against newly-appointed Eelco Schattorie’s Kerala Blasters on 24 October at 7.30 pm. A second consecutive game on the road follows for Jorge Costa’s Islanders who will remain in southern India to face two-time champions Chennaiyin FC on 27 October.

The Islanders will be in action at the Mumbai Football Arena for the first time in 2019-20 when they take on Delhi Dynamos in our first home game of the season on 31 October at 7.30 pm, capping off a busy opening week for the boys.

Ahead of the first and only international break of the league season, the Arena will host last season’s semi-final opponents FC Goa on 7 November, followed by away trips to NorthEast United (27 Nov) and ATK (30 Nov) on the other side of the international break.

Kerala Blasters come visiting in early December before the Islanders journey their way to two back-to-back away games at Bengaluru FC and Jamshedpur FC. We end the year on a feisty note with the first Maharashtra Derby of the season against FC Pune City, scheduled at the Arena on 29 December.

The Islanders begin 2020 with the first game of the year at home against ATK – the first of five games in January, kicking off the busiest month of our league campaign. January continues as we make a trip to the captial to face Delhi Dynamos before the defending champions Bengaluru FC roll into town. Jorge Costa’s boys close out January with the second and the away tie of the Maharashtra Derby against FC Pune City and a home test against NorthEast United FC.

Targeting a play-off spot for the second year running, a difficult run-in awaits Jorge Costa and the Islanders with an away trip to FC Goa sandwiched between two home games between Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC in February to close out the league stage of the 2019-20 Hero ISL.
